Sanitary Disparities as risks markers health: a challenge to sanitary surveillance

Abstract

This study, as an exploratory one, retrospective survey-type, aimed to identify the sanitary disparities in the high complexity facilities and assistance tools and concerned to Franca – SP heath, registered in the Sanitary Surveillance Information System, in August 2008 to July 2009 as risks markers to health. From the amount of 186 services, 58 (31,72%) presented sanitary disparities, categorized into nine axes: documentation, physical frames, human resources, products qualities, tool’s preventive maintenance, sterilization process. Health waste, environment hygiene and individual protection equipments, 164 (88, 17%) presented a law risk condition, 21 (11,29%) are average, and only one presented a high risk level. Results shows that such sanitary disparities may comprise the service or the offered product quality and generate risks to the users, customers and works health.

    Graduada em Enfermagem pela Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto-Universidade de São Paulo-USP-RP. Mestra em Promoção da Saúde pela Universidade de Franca-SP. Docente dos cursos de graduação em Medicina e graduação em Enfermagem pela UNIFRAN, na área de saúde coletiva. Tutora do curso de Educação à Distância-Saúde do Trabalhador e Ecologia Humana da Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública Sérgio Arouca/FIOCRUZ. Enfermeira da Vigilância Sanitária Municipal de Franca/SP.

    Possui graduação em Enfermagem e Obstetrícia pela Escola de Enfermagem de Ribeirão Preto Usp (1971), mestrado em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1977), doutorado em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1987) e Livre-Docência em Enfermagem (1996). Atualmente é docente de graduação do Curso de Enfermagem e de pós-graduação da Universidade de Franca. Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem, com ênfase em Promoção de Saúde, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: infecção hospitalar, staphylococcus aureus, portador são, assistência de enfermagem e riscos ocupacionais.
