Uma coisa é pôr ideias arranjadas, outra é lidar com país de pessoas, de carne e sangue, de mil-e-tantas misérias…Tanta gente – dá susto de saber – nenhum se sossega: todos nascendo, crescendo, se casando, querendo colocação de emprego, comida, saúde, riqueza…1Toda vez que se pensa em Guimarães Rosa, o homenageado da vez no 8º Simpósio Brasileiro de Vigilância Sanitária (Simbravisa) de 2019, a palavra travessia ou a palavra sertão aproxima-se.
De tempos em tempos, nossos sertões reais se intensificam e atravessamos os desafios e os problemas decorrentes de um mundo de incertezas, vulnerabilidades, desigualdades e misérias.
O avanço tecnológico, a produção científica e a vigilância sanitária não se dissociam desse mundo no qual os problemas se justapõem e as dualidades ficam ainda mais apartadas.
