Nesse momento, no Brasil, existem inúmeras pesquisas sendo conduzidas visando o escla-recimento de aspectos clínicos e epidemiológicos da doença provocada pelo ziKa vírus. No cerne desse problema, um alvo que tem se mostrado inabalável – o mosquito Aedes aegypti, transmissor não só do vírus da zika, mas também da dengue e da chikungunya. Assim, observamos tempos difíceis para a saúde pública, sendo necessária uma soma de conhecimentos da ciência, gestão e sociedade que favoreça diálogos e estratégias mais efetivas para o controle desse vetor. Em consonância com este esforço, neste número, a revista Visa em Debate apresenta dois textos, que trazem uma abordagem muito própria da Vigilância Sanitária.Downloads
