Conhecimento em Vigilância Sanitária: para onde vamos?

A importância do conhecimento em acesso aberto – em época de conhecimento cada vez mais mercantilizado – necessita ser debatida e uma somatória de ações estratégicas deve se tornar efetiva. Divulgar um artigo científico muitas vezes é instigar uma transformação. Há artigos que colocam nossa visão preestabelecida em questionamento, sinalizam para a alteração de parâmetros usuais, demonstram outra forma mais efetiva de agir sobre riscos conhecidos, abrem frestas onde o conhecimento era opaco.
Em Vigilância Sanitária, esses novos conhecimentos podem e devem influir nas desigualdades regionais do SNVS e em suas ações de proteção à saúde, inspirando mudanças. Este propósito é o fundamento da divulgação científica em vigilância sanitária, principalmente em tempos mediados por tantas apreensões.
